Yamaha keyboards

I’ve practiced the piano on and off since I was a teenager. I’m a secondary beginner if there’s such a thing. There are some pieces I can play fairly well and others I can play but struggle through and others that I don’t attempt to play at all. I’ve always enjoyed playing the piano. I grew up around pianos. My father was the church organist. We pretty much owned the church organ as a result. Of course an organ is different from a piano but that’s neither here nor there. We also had a piano at one point in our Brooklyn apartment. I plan to buy a piano one of these days, but I need to first buy a home to put it in. I don’t think it makes sense to put a piano in a small apartment.
For now I use a Yamaha Keyboard.
I’ve been practicing sporadically using free sheet music that I download from the Internet. I know if I practice more frequently and consistently I could become more than fair at playing the piano. I won’t become as good as my brother or my father but that’s perfectly okay with me. I just want to get to the point where I’m able to play without making tons of mistakes and having to stop for long seconds to try to figure out certain notes.
