The 34-year old man trampled to death when ‘Black Friday’ shoppers burst through the doors of a Walmart store in Valley Stream has been identified as Jdimytai Damour.
Police are presently reviewing surveillance camera video in the hope of being able to identify the people who trampled Jdimytai Damour to death.
It is possible that some of the people who trampled Jdimytai Damour could face criminal charges, however, police have admitted that it will be difficult to identify individual shoppers in Friday’s video.
Damour was a resident of Queens, New York. He was a temp worker at the store.
Witnesses say that after some shoppers were told the store was closing because someone had been trampled and killed they were irate and shouting about how they had been waiting in line since the day before. They did not show any sign of concern about the man who had lost his life. They only cared about being able to shop.
