Friday, November 28th, 2008

On November 26th a man by the name of Curtis Lavell Vance was arrested and charged with capital murder for allegedly beating TV anchorwoman Anne Pressly to death last month. Anne Pressly, an anchorwoman working for an ABC affiliate in Little Rock Arkansas, died as a result of a brutal beating inflicted upon her by an intruder into her home back on Oct. 20. Authorities now say that Mr. Vance was the intruder who brutally beat Ms. Pressly and left her for dead; but why Curtis Lavell Vance attacked and killed Anne Pressly remains a mystery.

Lt. Terry Hastings, the public information officer for the Little Rock Police Department has told reporters that there was no relationship between Vance and Pressly.

Hastings said it’s likely Vance just saw Pressly and attacked her. They have not been able to come up with any obvious motive.
