The definition of ironic: a lottery held in Alaska to raise money for victims of sexual abuse was won by a convicted sex offender. Alec Ahsoak, convicted in 1993 and 2000 for sexually abusing a minor, won $500,000 in the Lucky Time Pull Tabs jackpot. Proceeds from the Lucky Time Pull Tabs jackpot go to the organization “Standing Together Against Rape in Anchorage” which provides support and other services to victims of sexual abuse. More from CNN
