Apparently a former good friend and business partner of Andre Agassi’s is suing his wife Steffi Graf over $50,000. Perry Rogers, called Agassi’s oldest friend, is reportedly suing Steffi Graf because she was late paying his management fee; but according to people who have access to the Agassi-Graf private world, this suit isn’t really about a late payment of $50,000.

It seems there has been a problem between Steffi Graf and Perry Rogers for some time, stemming from Graf’s involvement in Agassi’s financial affairs. Reports claim that Graf made accusations against Rogers, or at least hinted to her husband that Rogers mishandled some of their business investments. Rogers purpotedly took offense and there has since been tension between the two.

Rogers had been president of Andre Agassi Enterprises, running Agassi’s business for him up until October when he resigned. He apparently also worked as Stefi Graf’s manager and agent; but things have turned sour.  Agassi and Rogers are on the brink of losing their friendship over Rogers’ feud with his wife.

Says Agassi in response to the lawsuit filed by Perry Rogers against his wife:

“I am both saddened and disappointed to learn that Perry has filed a lawsuit and sadder still that he has sued my wife, Stefanie.”

“I remain hopeful that we will be able to resolve our business issues with minimal damage to our families and mutual friends.

“It’s like a divorce in many ways. I still don’t think I’m in a place where I can process this yet. None of it is easy. At the end of the day, you try to get through it as responsibly as possible. I certainly love my wife more than life itself and will be there for her during this time.”
