Santa Christmas Eve shooting claims more than 3 lives


The fire that started in the house where a man dressed up as Santa Claus opened fire on a group of people having a Christmas Eve party, claimed more than 3 lives according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. Ed Winter, the assistant chief of the LA County Coroner’s Office has told reporters that more dead bodies have been found by investigators while sifting through the ashes of the house.

The suspected shooter, Bruce Jeffery Pardo, killed himself at his brother’s house in the Sylmar area of Los Angeles hours after the shooting. Police believe marital issues were the motive behind the shooting. His estranged wife is believed to have been in attendance at the party. It is not clear at this time if his wife was among the deceased.
