It seems everybody already owns a big screen HDTV, but we actually haven’t gone the big screen route or the HDTV route yet. Fortune hasn’t quite smiled at us to the point where we can afford to spend $1600 on a TV, but the moment that changes we will go shopping.

In the meantime we’re looking around at what’s out there just for the fun of it. And we like the look of the Samsung HLT6187S 61″ Slim LED Engine 1080p DLP HDTV. We’re not going to pretend to know what the heck the manufacturer is talking about in the description. Right optics, electronic circuitry, millions of microscopic mirrors - none of that says much of anything to us. We just like how the set looks so razor thin.
