Prosecutors have said it is not in the best interest of the people of the state of Florida to pursue the death penalty as a potential sentence for Casey Anthony. I’m not usually one to support punishing someone for a crime you don’t have hard proof they committed but I make an exception for Casey Anthony. I can’t imagine why the prosecution believes it’s not in the best interest of the people of the state of Flordia to pursue the death penalty here. I think it’s in the best interest of the world, and they need to do what’s in the best interest of the people of the world and forget about what’s in the best interest of the people of the state of Florida.
Casey needs to do right by her daughter and tell the damn truth. She should be begging to be executed frankly, but no, she’s still insisting all she wants is for Caylee to be found. If she’s so sure her daughter is alive somewhere and she wants so badly for the child to be found, why is she being so uncooperative? I just can’t see where she doesn’t deserve to be fried; but I guess it’s just a measure they have to take “just in case”. Since they don’t have absolute, irrefutable proof Caylee Anthony is dead they can’t seek the death penalty.
