William Cotto and Isol Cotto of Marbletown New York are both dead. William Cotto, a retired NY State trooper is suspected of killing his wife Isol Cotto from whom he was estranged, then killing himself. According to Cotto family members, William Cotto showed up at the home where Isol Cotto, 49, was staying and used a shotgun to slay her. He then shot himself in the parking lot of a nearby gas station.
Cotto, 53, had been arrested just days before and an order of protection had been issued for his wife.
