A Kansas woman who left her car running with her sleeping baby inside has been arrested and is being charged with child endangerment after her car was stolen with her baby still inside. The woman’s VW Jetta was stolen when she went inside the friend’s house to borrow money. Police believe the thief was unaware the child was in the car. The mother explained that she left the child in the car because he was sleeping and she didn’t want to wake him.

The car was found with the child still inside unharmed.
