Jealous 63-year old woman kills ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend in house fire

63-year-old Zilpah Ann Warmack of Inkster, Michigan is facing a felony murder charge, an assault charge and arson charge after setting fire to her ex-boyfriend Larry Lee’s home and killing his new girlfriend Denise Robinson.
The incident occurred in the early morning of November 17. Warmack poured gasoline all over the front porch of Lee’s house and lit the house on fire.
71-year old Larry Lee managed to get out with minor burns; however his 52-year old girlfriend Denise Robinson died in the upstairs bedroom.
After ruling that the fire started as a result of arson, and based on statements from witnesses, police arrested Zilpah Ann Warmack and charged her with felony murder, assault with intent to murder, and arson.
If convicted Warmack faces a madatory life sentence behind bar for the felony murder charge, plus the possibility of an additional life sentence on the assault charge and up to 20 years for the charge of arson.
