In a letter to Commissioner Gerald Bailey, Florida Governor Charlie Crist has called for an investigation into charges of horrendous abuses suffered by boys who attended the Dozier School for Boys in Marianna, Florida decades ago. Four men who were students at the reform school in their youth have come forward with allegations that boys attending the school were physically and sexually abused, and that a number of boys were killed by guards.
Calling themselves “The White House Boys”, referring to a white building on the reform school premises where students were taken for brutal beatings, Roger Kiser, Michael McCarthy, Bryant Middleton and Dick Colon contacted Governor Crist and called for an investigation into what they believe to be a cover up. The men, who came into contact with each other through a website that was started by Roger Kiser, allege that many of the boys who were sent to the ‘White House’ to be disciplined were killed and their remains were buried on the school grounds.
Describing the implement with which the boys were beaten, Bryant Middleton, who himself faced discipline at the ‘White House’ on numerous occasions said, “You could hear it coming through the air and when it hit your body, the pain was unbelievable. They just beat you to the point of unconsciousness, or you could no longer understand what was happening to you.”
Dick Colon told a story about walking into the laundry room one day and finding a large tumble dryer running with a black teenager locked inside it. Colon was too afraid of what would happen to him if he tried to help save the boys so he did not try to help. He said to CNN, “I said to myself, I can’t do it, cause I’m gonna be the next one in the God-d– dryer if I take him out. I turned my back and walked out and it torments me every day of my life.”

For his part, governor Charlie Crist has asked the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to investigate the matter. The contents of his letter to Commissioner Gerald Bailey are below:
Dear Commissioner Bailey:
The White House Boys Survivors Organization has brought to my attention the horrible plight suffered by children who attended the Dozier School for Boys in Marianna, dating back to the early 1900s. In the area surround the school there are 32 unidentified graves, marked only by white metal crosses. Questions remain unanswered as to the identity of the deceased and the origin of these graves.
I request that the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigate this serious matter. I have asked the Department of Juvenile Justice to provide any assistance that is required. The review should include an investigation into the location of the graves, and what entity owned or operated that property at the time the graves were placed. Please review all available resources and make every reasonable effort to determine the identities of these remains. During the course of the investigation, please determine whether any crimes were committed, and if at all possible, the perpetrators of these crimes.
Than you for your assistance in this matter.
Sincerely,
Charlie Crist

PLEASE DISTRIBUTE this to ALL the White House Boys now and those who come forth in the future as they are ALL heroes. — I want to encourage ALL you White House Boys to sue the state of Florida for all you can get (at LEAST a $million each) and sue all the perpetrators that can be found as part of bringing them to some kind of justice. You’re the Generals and soldiers in the fight for the children of America and the world and you must carry on and fulfill your destiny, as it is your duty and God is with you. — see letter as follows for more info. ————————————————————–
(Letter to Editor for publication) Congratulations to: “The White House Boys” (see: on internet) and at: (912)-261-1014 and (410)-581-0284 ) who have convinced Florida Governor Charlie Crist to investigate their reported torture and the suspected murder of boys at the old Florida School for Boys during the 1950s and 60s: I wish to say -Keep up the fight, you’re doing great ! - Show the perpetrators no mercy and always sue them in civil lawsuits to insure justice of some kind. - You ALL are heroes by your sacrifices and courage in the fore- front of the fight for our whole Christian Western civilization and have obviously been commissioned by God to protect the children of America and the world through the Movement you are creating (whether you know it or not). There are many soldiers in this battle already but they need Generals like yourselves to spearhead the war against the evil of your time that still exists today in the Child Protection organizations of the present where great numbers of children are reportedly bought, sold, and disposed of like human flotsam and jetsam here and in the world sex- torture- child pornography trade (see the book: ‘ Race Against Evil ‘ by David Race Bannon). I also encourage you to form a PRIVATE (NO government money) organization for child protection, that will live on long after us, having a president (CEO) and a Governing Council (study the John Birch Society structure as an example at: JBS.org or 1-800-JBS-USA-1). Robert Welch founded the John Birch Society in 1958, and it’s still going strong to preserve our country, and you can do the same. Good luck and keep fighting, as you are true leaders in America as opposed to the commonplace phony wall to wall politicians infesting our nation, and remember: never trust a politician or bureaucrat as they are the CAUSE of these problems! - Sincerely, Ed Nemechek, Landers. As a 501 (c) (3) child abuse prevention organization we struggle constantly to gain support for our cause. How can we help the children of the world when we don’t even take care of those in our own back yard? Our non-profit has collect under $200 in donations in the last 6 months from our website. We desperately need funding to provide abuse prevention materials to hospitals, teens, children, schools, law enforcement, health clinics and other organizations. We have over 80 volunteers in 34 states and we have no funding. 4 children die each day in this country from child abuse and neglect. There are 3 million child abuse cases reported each year but the Department of Justice says that number is actually 3 times higher nearer to 9 million, as most go unreported.
We want children to know their rights. We want them to know they are loved and protected from abuse and neglect. We also send Action Alerts out in specific cases to District Attorneys around the country.
