Chichiro 'Cherry' Enoki

Brooklyn TV editor Chichiro Enoki, called Cherry by her friends and loved ones, died Friday when she slipped while climbing Mount Shasta in California and plunged thousands of feet to her death.

Cherry Enoki was climbing Mount Shasta with two male friends when she reportedly lost her footing and went tumbling down the mountain, hitting rocks on her way down into “Avalanche Gulch”. She was dead by the time Christopher James Kraul and and Gordon Clark, her climbing companions, descended from their height of 11,700 feet to the location where her body landed.

An autopsy revealed that Enoki, 33, died of head injuries.
