Earlier today a Hilary Clinton adviser was being quoted as saying that Hilary is having reservations about the Secretary of State job, making a statement to the effect that the senator is “agonizing over the decision”, because she’s used to being her own boss and she doesn’t want to have to give up her independence. Now this afternoon reports are circulating that Hillary Clinton’s husband, former president Bill Clinton is in negotiations with the Obama transition team and ready to make the necessary concessions to allow for his wife to be formally offered the job of secretary of State within the next seven days.
