The moral of this story: don’t use fireworks indoors. You’d think everyone knows better but even in the face of this fire in Bangkok with over 50 people reportedly killed as a result of someone’s recklessness, there’s going to be another fire that takes place in some crowded place and results in the loss of dozens of lives because someone chose to ignore the warning that fireworks should not be used indoors.

Reports out of Bangkok: at least 59 people have lost their lives, killed in a fire at Santika, one of the city’s most upscale nightclubs. Apparently there were approximately 1000 people at the nightclub ringing in the New Year when the fire broke out. Details from CNN
