I was just reading about how Karolina Kurkova has no belly button. Apparently photographers usually photoshop a navel onto her pictures. How odd is that? I have to admit I’m surprised they didn’t decide this makes her even hotter and push the no belly button look until girls started going to get navel removal surgery. Too weird.

In other Karolina Kurkova news I hear she’s lost some weight since that situation a few months back when she was seen on the runway in Brazil with what the Brazilian media called a fat back, love handles and cellulite. I did see some of the pictures and she did look like she’d put on some weight. I personally didn’t think it was nice of the Brazilian media to insult her like that; but I guess you just don’t expect to see a model strutting on the catwalk with fat ripples in her back and cellulite on her butt.

Of course people are criticizing Karolina for losing weight after she made comments criticizing society’s attitudes about women and weight, like she’s supposed to risk her career just to help other women feel better about themselves. Modeling is her career and she’s expected to maintain a certain look. She should trying to get the rules changed to fit the shape she’s in.
