“Moose flying around my head, Graham crackers are my bed, Clocks melting to the floor, Elephants opening and closing my door…” Allegra Rose Dahlquist has a gift for rhyme as evidenced by her poem “Insanity” published on poetry.com; but if Allegra has a future as a poet, that future could be delayed several decades or permanently destroyed depending on how Allegra is sentenced should she, once tried for the crime, be found guilty of murdering Apex teenager Matthew Josiah Silliman.

Today Allegra Rose Dahlquist was arrested in Apex North Carolina and charged in the murder Matthew Silliman.

Police allege that Allegra Rose Dahlquist, Ryan Patrick Hare, Drew Logan Shaw and Aadil Shahid Khan were all involved in murdering Matthew Silliman, an 18-year old Apex teen who suffered with dementia and other cognitive impairments. They say the murder took place Sunday November 30th.

Allegra Rose Dahlquist faces the possibility of life in prison if convicted of the crime.
