3 female employees stage Captain D’s robbery

Three employees at a Captain D’s in Farmington New Mexico are in a little hot water and also out of a job after they tried to stage a robbery of the restaurant where they worked. Tara Frazier, Lea Curley and another girl who has not been named because she is a minor decided to rob their employer but make it look like an armed robber came in and robbed the place while they were closing up. The plan was that they would take the money out of the register then call the cops and Frazier would tell the cops that while she was outside smoking a cigarette a man with an gun came up to her and forced his way into the restaurant, hit one of the girls on the back of the neck with the gun, stole the money from the register then fled the scene.

To make their story look legit Lea Curley even hit Tara Frazier on the back of the head with a frying pan; but the girls couldn’t each manage to tell the same story to police. Police say the reports from each girl were not matching up. Furthermore, the photos taken of Frazier where the girls claimed the gunman hit her on the back of the neck with a gun “were consistent with being hit in the back of the head with a frying pan” according to Sgt. Bruce Holiday of the Farmington Police Department.

Frazier and Curley have been charged with embezzlement, conspiracy, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
