2009 starts tomorrow


Not that you don’t all know already that tomorrow starts a new year. For some people the new year already started. I personally don’t believe in making New Year’s resolutions, but I do believe in giving yourself new chances. There are going to be people killing themselves and killing other people today for all kinds of reasons. People kill themselves and kill other people every day; but especially around this time, Christmas and New Year’s the suicide and homicide rates are higher.

If you’re feeling alone, lonely, hopeless I want you to know you’re not alone. Even Mother Earth get’s to feeling alone, lonely and friendless. It’s a hard place to be at this time of year, alone, lonely and friendless; but new years day only lasts 24 hours and then it’s over so just hang in there. Tough it out. I’m not going to promise this year is going to be better for you; but I will say that you ought to give yourself a chance to discover what the year has in store. You really never know.

Some recommended books for you to read ( I hate reading self-help books too, but you know what? Sometimes they help and you need to make the effort for yourself. If you’re like me you’re not getting younger. There’s no time like the present to start actively and determinedly pursuing the peace of mind and happiness you deserve)
