A two-year-old girl lies in a coma in a hospital in Kent, Washington after her mother’s boyfriend beat her repeatedly over a number of days while potty training her.

Idriss Turner, the mother’s boyfriend, reportedly beat the little girl with belts, electrical cords and other implements if she failed to use the bathroom when forced to sit on an adult toilet.

A witness, Joy Brannon, described the beatings as “Slave beatings”, saying that Turner “Held the arms off the ground and just whipped, whipped, whipped”. Brannon also claimed that Turner put the girl in the shower and sprayed her with water.

Brannon also stated, “He [Turner] called it an exorcism one time. She threw up. He would let her drown a little bit and she’d have to get up on her own. If she didn’t have the energy, he’d say ‘She’s acting. Don’t touch her.’”

Doctors say it’s possible the little girl might never wake up out of her coma.
